well after reading all the crap posts you guys and gals have put up in the last week or two - I have to announce I'm back....better than ever and wanting to take the fight to the enemy

By the way - all the articles have been good - but I just wanted to stir you all up...

If anyone gets downhearted about their articles they shouldn't be - we all are here to play the game..win lose or draw. You should be proud of what you have done...anyone that puts 750 words together and gets more than a 7 should be proud of their efforts.

Remember one thing - we are the Roosters - the best team for two years...and we'll do it again...go team - see ya in Round 5. I have written my article and its called the "Father and the kid" - it relates to my son's ongoing injury problems and as a 18 year old now has now turned to coaching...god I'm proud of him.

Thanks for the support guys, happy that you enjoyed that little glimpse into the Bubbles household, scary thing is that I didn't really have to embellish too much!

Just as a side note, I went with my husband to the double header on Sunday and supported his team - cheered when they scored etc. - until I noticed the little weasel calculating for & against points to work out whether that win put the Dragons ahead of the Roosters!!! Needless to say, that I have withdrawn all support and am hanging to see the mighty Chooks down the Saints so that order can be restored at home!

I have read all the articles that have been posted this year and they've all been fantastic - go team!!!!!

I was laughing about that when I read your post, as if it's LUCKY that your kids like the Roosters, compulsory is a great choice.

Bubbles, Roostargirl and I are here if you need any advice :D

Jess and I were at the Chemist the other day and I was looking for massuese sandals, she picks up a pair and says, 'get these the're the Rooster colours'. They were so I did !!

I actually have a daughter from a previous life, whose name is Jess also, who absolutely hates football, however 1) I keep telling her that she actually loves it, she just doesn't know it yet and 2) that doesn't stop her from playing "Let's see if we can make mum cry by mentioning the Panthers all the time" - great game, just love it!!!

My husband and I are talking about having a child together and believe me, the whole issue of which team this poor kid is going to support, has been raised. He reckons that as the father, he should get the whole experience that most fathers get because, let's face it, most mothers don't get a rats arse about football. I, on the other hand, reckon that because he has plenty of mates who go for the Dragons and none of my friends do, that I need to breed my own fellow supporters!

I don't know what'll happen, but somehow I have a vision of a teenager sitting on a psychologist's couch and us footing the bill (and rightly so)!!!!
