Ok, I know I'm captain of the Lions but I don't want to see you guys go short because no-one knows the game is on. Oz is not around so I thought I better get this thread up.

Who is up for playing for Easts in Round 7? Starts tomorrow.

rb,I'm 11 days away from the anniversary of my dads passing. the only thing i feel like doing is getting pissed and biting peoples heads off. i look at the sevens this year and i dont really care. its not a reflection of the site or the sevens but now that i havent got my old man in my ear about it and see his posts and his passion i find it hard t' give a toss. add that the fact that we barely ever field a competitive team and i'm guilty b'cause i'm not putting an artcle up when i know we'll only get 3 tops i'm basically wondering why we're bothering. we were always the first team t' whinge when we played against teams that couldnt field five and now its us. ask me again when i'm out of crisis mode.

I should point out to people who don't know, I am not Captain of Easts but I will try to act as "Acting Captain" as much as I can without it getting in the way with my team.

I know RP2002 is up to playing and to be honest I haven't been paying much attention to who is on your playing roster this year, but anyone who can play please put there name down in this thread.

I joined F7's for the fun and to keep my brain active, so far I've achieved both.

Morticia, I know exactly where you are coming from.
Have a few for your dad, have a few more for yourself and remember our parents are still with us no matter how far we travel or how much things change.

Thanks RB60 we seem to have lost ourselves when Oz went away, but we owe it to the hard work he put in to keep it up.

It only seems like yesterday your Dad and I were chatting regularly. I knew it was getting close its hard to believe its been a year.

I'd love to join you for a drink...bloody shame your not here in Sydney we could have exchanged some more stories....I still smile when I think of things your Dad used to do and say....I'll never forget "vote for Guy and Ozzie" I miss him.

RB I'm not playing the 7's mate a few things gone wrong this year and I like Mort just don't seem to have the desire unfortunately.

We were hoping to get a Team going this year that could regain our title for BP but I just don't think any of us were really ready dispite our efforts.
