Well last game was a basic no show. My apologies but my laptop sat at work for three days after i left it there and i'm not into going t' work when i dont need t' be there.

this is the last round of the season. five v five would be great and then a serious reasessment as t' whether we compete next year or call it a day after a non competitve year and have a year off. would be good t' get a team named and up in the thread asap so if you want a swansong in East colours, throw your name in the pen here.

First of all, I must apologise profusely here. I ended up in hospital for a little while and have been basically bed-ridden for a couple of weeks. Am back on my feet now though and am keen to play in the last game of the year, so count me in Morticia - btw how did the visit from your mate end up, noone got arrested I hope?!

As for where to go next year, I'll let you all know that I really want to play next year and I'm really really hoping that's for the mighty Easts team. But a reassessment is certainly needed and if we can't get enough together, then so be it...

gee i hope things are ok now bubbles. sorry t' hear you werent well. i hate hospitals (bit of a predicament for a nurse :lol: ). nope, noone arrested but a few almosts. one saving grace was being known t' some of the cops (not because of previous behaviour rather job). she had a good time anyway and has had a passion for league instilled in her. although she is banned from supporting the roosters as we havent had a win since her interest was sparked. :x glad t' hear you want t' play. not sure about next year myself. i want a t' play in a team where i know 99% of the time we're going t' compete and i dont have t' play every game as i dont have the time. time t' start the hard sell if we're going t' keep easts going. we need at least 12 rotating t' compete.

sorry guys after last week I have transferred to another team for the rest of the season - I am tired and don't have much time on my hands to organise teams and read my own articles...

next year well we need to have a hard core of players - if we can't I will continue to play with the panthers.

shame. easts are gone this year. i guess we default this last game. thanks bubbles for your enthusiasm and rg for responding t' the sos. if anyone has the enthusiasm t' try and get a team for next year please feel free.

He Morticia it was my pleasure I enjoyed helping out. I don't really have the time to commit to a full time spot though.
