Forum Upgrade

As you may have noticed, we've just upgraded our forum software to the latest major version. There are some new features that come with the new software, and we'll highlight these over the next few days.

Just like any major upgrade there are likely to be teething issues, but we'll work through these as quickly as possible.

If you've got any bugs to report or constructive feedback, please post them in this thread and we'll take a look.

Ads in middle I can scroll past, but one down bottom pops up and is pinned there.
When I type, the ad bar down bottom covers and prevents me from seeing text I am typing as I type.

I thought the advertiser thought we were an ancient Latin linguistics forum or the script writer was inebriated!

It's account based, not device based.

Whitelisting didn't work so I deleted all ad blockers 3 days ago.

I got all the ads and still limited functionality of the forums.

It will take time for the functionality to come back. It's not anywhere near instant.

OK I touched an ad recently and the same thing happened. It was easy to switch off by hitting the "X'. It looks like you accidentally hit an ad without knowing it.

Tried chrome(no ad blocker) and brave(with shields down) on android, edge(no ad blocker) on desktop and still no luck.

It's not instant. You'll need to leave them off on all browsers.
