I would've choked on my coffee seeing that, so disbelieving I would have been. But good on 'em. Good to see..

What!!! I nearly fell of my chair!! Wow!

Does this mean a) that there is a TV company broadcasting this in Europe (I assume Fox Leage aren't going to put a FB livestream on their channel) and b) the tournament is receiving some revenue?

I hope this continues along with an annual Pacific Championship - the more international footy on TV the better it is for all nations involved.

Looks like it is thanks to the ffrxiii that you will be seeing France v Wales at least....

Google translatation:

In recent days, discussions have been going on between the FFRXIII and its partner viàOccitanie TV.

It was a question of regulating the technical details of the diffusion of the images of FFRXIII TV on the channels of the BBC.

It was obvious that if the BBC broadcast the match France vs Wales, the FFRXIII was involved and concerned in the first place because producer with FFRXIII TV but, what good to make announcements effects until nothing was officially settled.

The French Rugby League Federation, the European Federation, viatocitania and the interlocutors of the English media were busy behind the scenes ...

This is today done! The cameras of FFR XIII TV will resume service and broadcast their images across the Channel.

The small chain FFRXIII TV grows .... Slowly but surely, and the partnership with viàOccitanie will strengthen in the coming weeks ...

From 3 pm France vs England then at 6 pm the first clash of the French team in this European Championship against the Welsh will be broadcast live from the Albert DOMEC stadium in Carcassonne on the viàOccitanie website (direct section), on site in the FFRXIII TV section but also on the website of the English Federation ourleague.com. (the rights to the image being regulated on this European competition, only these supports will be able to diffuse) then on BBC Sports and FOX Sports.

Side Box (Free - Orange - Bouygues etc ...) you just go on the channel 30 or 31 and select viàOccitanie in the list of televisions to attend these meetings on your TV.

TNT side it will be enough to go on the channel 30 or 31 for the zones served by viàOccitanie.

Watched the France v Wales game.
Definitely happy that its on but the coverage was poor.
Really makes international league look like a joke.
Wales were very average.
Glad to see it being shown though and will watch them all

Haven't had a chance to watch the France v Wales game yet as I was traveling, but production value for Wales v Scotland is reasonable.

Having the tournament accessible is a massive step in the right direction. Disappointing the lack of promotion of this fact by the participating nations and RLEF.

Anyway, a positive step. Hopefully it leads to some sponsorship which can be used for marketing. Getting crowds of 5K-10K should be a realistic target for this tournament.

Didn’t the tournament used to get crowd of around 5,000? Outside of France, this seems to be drawing in the few hundreds at the moment.
