Fox League/Nine Network Coverage

Hi,

Just wondering what everyones channel preferences are when watching NRL games + why?

Fox League has the advantage of no ads during play, but I want to know what other things (eg. Commentators/Analysis/Presentation) which network do you prefer?

Fox every day of the week. Less obvous agendas by the commentators during the game and less constant focus on ref f**ks ups.

I watch the nine coverage when it is on with the volume on zero because that sounds better. I hate News Limited.

This. Blocker, Braith too... I usually watch and listen to the radio commentary. Both are just as bad

I'd rather listen to the "beta" commentators discuss the game being played than listen to Nine's experts talk about each other's golf games and what Nine reality shows they've been watching lately.

This season the overseas feed has been changed to the fox league coverage instead of channel 9. It’s so much f**king better I almost cried

I haven't got Fox sport back on yet and had the misfortune of watching the game on 9. I'd forgotten how shit their commentary was. The best advertising Fox could do is to play snippets of Rabs and Gould gibbering on during a game.If that didn't make you want to switch nothing would.

I have a 76' Ultra HD TV. Watching the footy on Channel 9 gives me a f**king amazing picture. I can see every bead of sweat pouring off players tattooed necks! I do not extra pay for HD Fox - as I pay them enough already. So if I want HD - it is nine.

So yes - I am a moron as I prefer nines coverage if I have a choice so I can watch in HD.

As for the commentators - I think a while back Fox crapped on nine with its commentators. In some cases it still does.But if you prefer Blocker, Kimmorley and Buderus to Rabbits ,Sterlo and Gus - enjoy !

Being in NZ (Sky) we get the Fox broadcast but have CH9 audio as an option. If Rabs is in commentary I listen to that (unless Vossy is on Fox)

Biggest mistake CH9 ever made was losing Vossy. Not their only mistake, just the biggest IMO

Also letting Matty John's go was a dumb move. Yvonne Sampson....
Could go on all day with CH9 blunders......
