I've quite enjoyed watching the touch footy thats been on Fox recently. I wonder i fthis could become a more valuable tv product in the future? Could be a womens and mens NRL touch footy comp as lead in games to the main NRL game?
I liked it last year. Was better than I thought it would be. Not everybody agrees with is I’m afraid. Haven’t watched it this year so far.

The question is not whether they have debt, it's whether they can afford to service that debt. What is the profitability of Netflix?

As the market becomes ultra competitive within the streaming sector, Netflix need to quickly find their next blue ocean idea imo otherwise they will drown quickly. Does that lie in content creation? Maybe, though that is what they are doing now. Does it it lie on content creation and on-selling said creations to competitors in non core markets? Maybe as it increases their revenue streams.

All these services, whether in streaming, on pay tv or whatever, live and die by their content.

Netflix understood this when it started to create original content. They knew that if they just kept having to license content, they'd be dead sooner or later.

As long as Netflix keep producing content that people want to watch, while supplementing with licensed content, they're not in any trouble.

The only thing their competitors can do is also create content that people want to watch.

The VOD model isn't going anywhere, because can be a very lucrative model provided you give people a reason to watch. From what I can tell, Netflix are doing that, particularly as they create content tailored to countries. I'd feel more concerned about the future of streaming platforms that only cater to one country, like Stan.

I don’t agree.
