Franklin Field in Philadelphia is the field hosting the match between the US Tomahawks and the Aust. Kangaroo's. Do you this the field is ready for league. How will this work? With the NFL goalposts being used, does this mean that the posts will be behind the deadball line?

What are the measurements of an NFL field compared to that of a classic Rugby League field.

Here are some pictures of Franklin Field which show it with NFL set up...

No the game will be played on artifial turf with traditional NFL goal posts.

I don't think it really matters though.
It's not like there are traditional RL field all around the US

Apparently they will play it in 20 min quarters aswell... also painting the ball red to make it look as much like NFL as possible.... pretty stupid really.

It's the colour the Yanks (spectators) are used to seeing the ball in?

Actually the ball will be red, white and blue.... a commerative ball people. The field will remain the same, with all the same markings. The fields im pretty sure are the same size... maybe a bit smaller, but not by much.

18m narrower. But it's not like it's uncommon to play on smaller fields outisde QLD & NSW.

Melbourne, most England, NZ grounds are narrower and shorter than the required.
