I feel Freddy just had too many outside influences in his head, whether it was Brandy, Joey, Gus, etc and then he had his own left field ideas which meant at the end of the day the team just had no identity and resembled a random assortment of pieces. Madge came in with no affiliations, no media commitments, no club links, he picked the team objectively and established an identity.
