Just wanted to congrulate my mate Steve on winning Channel [V]'s Fresh Meat competition. I gotta say, when I met him in May, I'd never have picked it. Go you good thing!

He's an odd one, that's for sure. First time I met him he was wearing a pink hat with a long purple feather in it. His music is good as well, if you ever get a chance to check it out.

He's grown on me a lot, I didn't know how to take him at first but I really like him now. He's really shy speaking straight to the camera, but he comes up with some hilarious sh*t, and he's hard to dislike. Plus he becomes a whole new person with an instrument in his hand, anyone see that busking episode, where he was acting like a rasta? lol. Maude was probably the best all-round package to be a presenter (and I'm not talking looks-wise, frankly I don't rate her that much) because she had great charisma and played to the camera well. Gabby was confident too. Alex just tried to mimic James. It was weird after scouring the whole country they came up with two people from Brissy and two from Newcastle.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see all four of them get gigs with Channel [V] somewhere down the line. As much as I like Steve, I was a little surprised that he won it when you had great all 'round presenters like Gab and Maude in the competition with him. He's definitely got a way with people though. Thirsty Merc adored him (as they rightly should, being weird guys themselves)

Maude was probably the best all-round package to be a presenter (and I'm not talking looks-wise, frankly I don't rate her that much) because she had great charisma and played to the camera well. Gabby was confident too. Alex just tried to mimic James. It was weird after scouring the whole country they came up with two people from Brissy and two from Newcastle.

Maude was overly confident which seemed to annoy some people. she'll get a job real soon though

Gabby was alright but meh.

Alex wasn't very good imo so meh

and i thought steve was trying to mimic james a bit. which isn't a bad thing. it's got james a long way

but pretty good decision. although maude will probably be on channel v in a couple of months

I didnt like Steve at the start, he scared the sh*t out of me with his weirdness, but i now find him very funny and the best out of the 4 and happy he won!!

Gab was meh
Alex was to much like james
and Maude.. i liked her but ah well
