With the NRL on hold and f**k all sport to be found on TV, would there be sufficient interest in getting a 12-16 team competition going?

We could either use existing NRL rosters or conduct a draft to fill out custom teams of your own design.

Games are simulated using player stats, your strategies, and fluctuating form using a basic little program that also spits out a complete match report including scorers, match stats, etc.

Takes about 10-15 minutes a week to submit your side, although you can obviously spend more time on it if you're interested in analyzing matches, making trades etc.

Let me see if I can drum up some interest on another forum I hang out on as well, as we'd ideally want at least 12 teams.

We currently have two vacancies in the comp, if there are people interested in taking over.

Ten rounds into a ten team comp, the 6th and 7th place sides are free: the Wuhan Bats and the Chester Drawers. Both can be renamed.

I'll do all the ground work and set up the DB, possible site etc, if theres enough interest

Thinking a draft before the opening season. And then contracts with a year and salary cap similar to how it was 15 years ago when ASRL was great and CWB was still running it.
