I notice probably missed by a lot, Brailey tried a grubber from dummy half it went dead, but i believe 1st time tried this trick, last week he ran ball more this week the little kick.

Genuine signs of improvement he is only year 2, and has to touch the ball most on field but these small improvements takes pressure off other players

He grubbered it dead too.

Missed that. One kicked dead a game is pretty good, the out on the full was pretty ordinairy.

But he was pivotal in our only try this week, and kicked good goals, and generally kicked well, so it was a lot more good than bad (same as last week)

Frenzy.

I just watched the game again and 100% that should have been a penalty to us. I agree that it was beyond Holmes to try that maneuver but he was dragged over after being grounded.
I motion you all take that mistake out of your ratings criteria

Haha as if that'll happen

It was still a mistake. If he doesn’t run there they don’t get the chance to pull him over. You know it too.

If you watch it, he sort of hesitates as he comes to getting past Chambers, if he pinned his ears back it would of looked like a masterclass.
Still a low percentage play you can’t be doing on tackle one of flannoball.
Overall he was much better last night though

I don't really get the Ava hate tbh..... Stats don't read too bad .
Game time (total) ....73 mins
Meters run...............239
Tackles.....................51
Missed tackles...........0
Penalties conceded...0
While not a wrecking ball atm...I think he has plenty of improvement in him....could do far worse.

Not sure of the Holmes hate here plays injured and has a good dig.I am more concerened with Dugan missing with acupunture gone wrong? Very telling that the Dragons players were asking Mary to drop Dugan in their last game because he couldnt be arsed to make the team bus f**king pea hearted prick

I guess people are hoping he will be a beast. But like I said, I'm sure Flanno is happy with what he is doing, nothing fancy, but error free and getting the work done.

I thought Holmes was good. Nothing spectacular but good. Certainly has a limp.

Being taken out over the sideline, I believe he would have smoked Chambers except he looked up and saw vinuvinelana coming across in cover and tried to abort. Oh well, Sharks 1 vs Storm 5 sideline throw-outs...

People wanted a passing game, well he threw a good ball left and right, almost setting up a Feki try aaand learnt to hold the pass when it looked like it wasn't on.

Ava is like watching someone throwing a pillow of feathers against a brick wall. Put Uele or Dillon in. Who knows how much better they are but the team won't lose anything without Ava. Heck, use the bench spot to blood Billy.
