Flashback to the past 5 years of excellence in forum activity. As we near the day when the prestigious 2008 awards will be announced I thought we'd have a look back at past luminaries. Who's been keeping on, who's dropped off, who's come through with a bang.

We'll soon be looking for Forum Immortals the way this feted extravaganza has grown. The threads where the winners were announced are well worth a read for a laugh as well I might add.

Can someone please work this out, I can't believe it has been this many years. If LU picked up in 2003, how long was everyone on RLeague for?? 3 or 4 years before that?? And then there was the ORIGINAL Sharks forum on top of that as well.

That would have to be around 10-12 years ??

well the 03 season was nearly over when RL pulled the plug. Others moved to LU about the start of the season & used both forums.
Same with the Sharks forum & RL. There was about a year overlap.

I miss the ol' Redback, Daggle and Beekershark days. But that's showing my age I guess

That seems so very l o n g ago. The old Sharknet forum days I think.
Yep, the good ol' Hotdogs-at-10-paces days. So long ago. Good to see you're still around. Pity Beekershark had to join the Mason exodus.

As if you'd know Daggle. You sound like you're about 12
And that wasn't a childish reply? Come on mate, you can do better than that.

Believe or not, I actually attended an away game at Parramatta with Beekershark and his brother Matty once (in 2000 I think it was from memory). Over the past few years though, we seem to just ignore each other whenever our paths cross. Redback was his main protagonist - I still laugh every time I recall Redback challenging him to a sprint race along the sidelines at Shark Park to settle matters!

Thats it Daggle. You used his name.
Expect to be threatened with legal action quite soon.

& FTR, my condolences for the loss of an afternoon in your life, that you will never get back
