I thought St George deserved a contribution in the Wikipedia (the online encyclopedia):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._George_Dragons

St George Dragons were a team in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition in Australia.

Entering the NSW Rugby League in 1921, the club won 15 premierships, including 11 in succession between 1956 and 1966, a record for national sporting competitions at the time.

The breakaway of the Cronulla-Sutherland club in 1967 ended the Dragons' winning streak, and they enjoyed comparatively little success from that time on.

Their last premiership win was in 1979, although they suffered agonising grand final losses in 1985, 1992, 1993 and 1996.

Lack of junior playing strength, a below-standards home ground, and financial pressure forced the Dragons into a merger in 1999 with the Illawarra Steelers. The painful grand final tradition continued, with the new club being beaten in the last minutes of the 1999 Grand Final.

St George now continue their proud tradition in the third-tier Jersey Flegg competition.

Feel free to edit it, though don't make it too obvious.

made the wrong decision to break away from the dragons back in 1967 and have payed dearly ever since. Have never looked like winning a premiership and have struggled for away support because the local derrelicts dont leave their hole much. There is a major problem with underrage drinking and drug-taking in the area and this spills over into poor crowd behavior. Due to a poor home-ground, a poor team and a poor area they have had to be saved from bankruptcy from the various bodies. When in sydney if you want to see the sharks at play you are better off going to the aquarium.
