Biased I may be, but I definately believe it is the Queensland Reds' star recruit, Chris Schifcocske

Matt Chalk certainly has to fill some big shoes doesnt he?

Inglis, gee's how many games do you have to play at fullback to qualify? 100
Otherwise I'd say Schiff.

It helps to have played at least 15-16 at the one position.
How many has he played there?

Give what up? I watch every game, Stewart cant tackle to save himself. He is a brilliant support player, but offers little else in attack than his blistering speed.

Oh and why dont you post with your real username next time ay?

First paragraph proves you know jack sh!t.

I've got no idea what you're dribbling in the second.

So you claim that Brett Stewart is good defensively?

If so, that shows you are either one-eyed Manly fan, or dont really watch much footy to compare him to a fullback who actually can defend

He is sound defensively, no massive weakness as you claim.

Anyway, you're obviously someone who can't handle the fact there are other fullbacks out there who are as good if not better than Schifcofske, or will be in the future.

Stick with your loving devotion of Schifcofske, he and Jason Smith are the only players you've got who can lay claim to being in the Top 5 in their positions. They're both gone next year, who are you going to idolise then, Terry Campese?

Give it up chump.

Anyone who says the only quality Stewart has is pace has obviously only seen the highlights reels.

I only have to go back to the replay of the game against the panthers last week to know he is a big liability in defence, he got beaten twice, by campbell and wesser, to be blunt, Stewart sucks in defence, might be the good attacking fullback that all teams want these days, but his defence is lacklustre

MSIH, you really need to open your eyes, Stewart is nowhere near sound defensively, watch the game on the weekend, see campbell and wesser beat him very easily, both players he is faster than, both tackles that should have been made, he was even way out of position on one, lol, dont get me wrong, stewart is an awesome attacking fullback, but defensively id rather rely on a wet teatowel

that there is... but brett stewart is not one of them.
Good player, awesome attacking weapon, and i would oppose to seeing him in the lime green if our efforts to replace schif failed massively, but he is no clinton schifcofske and IMO never will be. Clinton is one of the last of a dying breed of fullbacks with excellent skills in offencive, defencive, and positional play

Better edit those posts champ. Stewart didn't play on the weekend.
