That’s a great way to bring rugby league action across other areas that don’t have an nrl team regularly playing there. Would it make sense for other teams to do the same? Like the broncos NRLW team playing in Ipswich, or tigers NRLW team playing permanently at leichardt while the nrl team play most games at Campbelltown
Not sure I'd send the Broncos to Ipswich, but I agree with NRL clubs giving their NRLW sides a more 'right size' home whilst their still establishing themselves (for non DH games of course).
I know they don't have NRLW teams yet, but the plans for the Storm NRLW team to be based out of Casey & the Dolphins out of Kayo makes a lot of sense.
Eels sending some games to Granville has been good for building an atmosphere & the club has plenty of other options in their region to consider as well (Wentworthville, new Kellyville High Performance Centre, etc)
I imagine the Bulldogs NRLW team will be primarily based out of Belmore & I don't mind the Tigers & Dragons current approach of splitting games between LO/CSS & WS/JO respectively.
I feel Gold Coast might be well served playing some non-DH at somewhere like Pizzey Park.
Warriors are playing 3 of their 4 NZ home games in Hamilton, which is possibly a tad too big (25K), but at least allows them to build their own identity.
