Yes, the ticket map shows that the infill seats will be used on all four sides. Very surprising given there is an AFL game the very next day. This game could break the all time stadium and Perth crowd record. A big win for the NRL.
It’s not a big deal at all. Just normal for the biggest sporting event in the country.

Perth is small peanuts, and shows it with inadequate infrastructure for major sporting events.

Lol, let me know when Qld can get a bigger crowd than Perth for an origin crowd. Or any sporting event.

well wouldn't both commonwealth games & upcoming olympics sporting events trump whatever west aussie's have? isn't the capacity difference between suncorp and optus only 7,500? once they build their new olympic stadium whats left for the west aussies to brag over cane toads?

People in glass houses right? They dont even have a 60k+ stadium for their main sport in Qlnd.
no but they're one of the 2 main global heartlands of the game that have 3 fantastic venues to watch footy at. suncorp, cbus and country bank are superb nrl viewing grounds for fans. even if suncorp is sub 55k it's still the best ground bar none to watch footy at.

paying qlders out because they dont have a 60k stadium is nuts. like you lot are demented and have never crossed the nullarbor or something.

Pathetic that a city the size of Brisbane doesnt have a large stadium, lift your game Qlnders. Maybe the Olympics will deliver one, if they ever make their mind up.

are you anti-qld or something? sounds like you never been to qld or attended a game at suncorp. maybe your government insider can have a quiet word to qld government about hurrying up their new stadium location. it is dragging on abit but qlders can be abit slow sometimes.

Plenty of times, its a good mid size stadium. Sold Bundy in optics which got it an extra star from me!
Shame there isnt a bigger one. Melbourne 100k, Sydney 83.5k, Perth 65k >>>>>Brisbane 54k. Lagging way behind. I suppose its bigger than what Adelaide's got lol

i guess but as far as watching rugby league + entertainment districts near stadia goes it would be brisbane with daylight second. magic round is absolutely pristine and even if you cant watch the games at the stadium the old cax, hotel la or paddo serve as equally good establishments to have a weekends worth of beer rubbing shoulders with fellow footy fans.

end of the day its about the spectacle. is suncorps 54k stadium a better venue to watch footy than all those other options you mentioned? yes, not even debatable really.

You'd hope they build something decent. When they do, and catch up with the rest of the country, then they can have a crack at other states.
Until then, their insecure thoughts are embarrassing.

i dont get it, suncorp is great. best footy ground for our sport in the country. its rectangle, it's purposely built for our game. youre flexing an aussie rules oval as something comparable? even after qld builds its 65-70k olympic stadium it won't change rugby league being played at suncorp, so why is this even relevant? west aussie bears will barely play at optus, they'll be playing at hbf 95% of the time.

so why west aussies are trying to flex their aussie rules oval vs the premier rugby league stadium over 7,500 more seats is legit crazy talk.

Just responding to claims that Perth facilities are crap.

Sure if you’re one of the lucky 54k to get a ticket, if you’re one of the tens of thousand due to its ltd capacity who missed out probably not.

hence theres 2 teams that use the ground and if you dont like either there's another one 1 hour down the road. getting tickets to suncorp outside magic round or finals footy isn't hard. stadium fills most games 40k + but even the bleaches are good seats.
