Moore park is a pain in the arse to get to for anyone west of Burwood/Auburn. Where the majority of Rugby League fans are.

it’s become a popular thing to shit on Stadium Australia but the location is not one of the things that can be shat on.
Drive to lillyfield and light rail to the stadium

Should have made Allianz 70k and knocked down Accor. Sensible stadium decisions seem to be an issue in Australia in some cities!
How would that be a sensible decision?
Total stupidity!

Accor is located in the centre of the Sydney region.
Allianz is in the Easter Suburbs of Sydney

Accor is serviced by heavy rail with a station located at the doorstep.(Direct trains from Central or Parramatta only during major events)
Allianz has no rail but light rail (from Central) which is still a 15 minute walk to the ground
Moore Park is a traffic nightmare on any day.

In a few years, Accor will be accessible with its own Metro station from the Sydney CBD or Parramatta.
High speed trains every 2-3 minutes. Less than 15 minute trip from the CBD and 5 minutes from Parramatta Station to get to Olympic Park. It will be quicker to get to Accor from Parramatta Metro Station than getting to Parramatta Stadium. 2 x Train stations (Metro and Rail),plus Light Rail access at Accor
It makes no sense to knock it down and replace it in the Eastern Suburbs.

What's makes sense will be to upgrade/rebuilt Accor into a 70,000+ Rectangular venue. This was the plan a few years ago until it was sabotaged by the SCG Trust and Covid.
Accor still does its job, but its getting old and needs the rebuild it was planned for.
SFS is the best rectangular Stadium in Australia and perfectly fine at 45,000

Olympic Park will soon have a high speed metro line serving the whole precint. It will be a piece of cake to get to from Parramatta and the city.

Yes the stadium is ageing and not perfect (thanks to the AFL) but it's still better than all those ugly cricket ovals.

I still believe it will be fixed within the next 10 to 15 years. And hopefully we'll have Australia's version of Wembley in its place.

I think they could get away with squaring up the ends and build stands with a decent rake.

Its not perfect but much better watching Rugby League there than the MCG or Optus.

Once the "cost of living " hype is over, then Accor rebuild will be back on the table.

Sydney now is pretty fortunate with Bankwest and Allianz.
Upgraded Transport access to Olympic Park is just about done.
Only piece left is the upgrade of Accor and then no one can complain about anything
