Good chance rugby league nines will be played at the Brisbane games too, whilst union sevens is canned

Ballymore got 31 million for hosting women’s hockey no reason why kayo couldn’t host some games events

not the same. kayo owned by a club. ballymore owned by the state body for a sport. it would be similar if qrl owned kayo.

yes both privately owned stadia. however ballymore has private school peoples cash and dolphins doesnt. ballymore redevelopment had the rugby boys at buildcorp do the work. buildcorp sponsor reds and womens national rugby.

Ballymore doesn’t even have a regular tenant

If Ballymore had private school money they wouldn’t be bludging off the taxpayer

The funding for the Olympics with Sunshine Coast stadium and Cairns getting money isn’t enough

I dont believe any Olympic money has been spent yet, its all wrapped up in the 100 day review. Barlow Park and Sunshine Coast stadiums were on that list, but who knows where it will land.

private school money = ministers in gov who are signing off for shit like this.
No sport in qld should be better connected than nrl

Two commissioners are high profile ex qld politicians

Arlc too busy with the bears and Vegas and not stadium money In qld

Barlow park will host cowboys nrlw side that’s prime for money

In the end the proposed 90 million for Sunshine Coast and 20 ? Million for cairns is better than nothing

The QLD NRL teams are all playing out of relatively new stadiums so not sure what the ARLC should be doing unless they want upgraded rectangular stadiums in regions that don't have an NRL and/or building 10-20k rectangular venues in Brisbane suburbs

The Queensland government will finally announce the location of the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games main stadium next month after years of speculation.

An independent panel reviewing Games infrastructure will deliver its report to the state government on March 8, advising whether a new stadium should be built and where athletics should be held.

The government will liaise with Games partners, including the International Olympic Committee and Commonwealth, before Cabinet signs off on the delivery plan on March 24.

It will be announced on March 25.

But will the govt actually listen to it this time?

It really isn't. In 2025 they are only playing 2 games there.

The Dolphins should play all of there games at Suncorp. And any money should go to that stadium.
Probably brush kayo when Sunshine Coast stadium is done

The renders for that look ok

Just miss out on game day punters going to dolphins leagues club

Didn’t know it’s only two games at kayo that’s good their crowds should show a boost this year
