We've heard it many times before.. usually in a game where some commentator pipes up on a player who's having a great game ...
The dreaded... "he's a future origin player"... or sometimes replace "player" with "star"...
How often does that player actually go on to play SOO? And further to that, how many actually become a "star"...??
When you hear it or read it, post it hear and we can keep track of how many of these players actually deliver to the label spalled on them by an "expert".
This isn't designed to be critical of players themselves, especially those who've not made it. But more to see how accurate these "experts" are when (in my opinion) this term is so loosely thrown at so many players off the cuff..
