People need to move on from peachey, I wouldn't have given him 300k either. I'm out of the country so didn't see the game last night but I have seen him do sweet fa to deserve 300k this year.

Look at our team 3 or 4 years ago and look at it now and tell me recruitment retention has been shit. I am not particularly fussed with Ennis but given who else is out there I cannot really fault our decision to go for him.

Ennis is an upgrade on DeGois but typical sharks signing in that he's in the twilight of his career. Take out one good year from burrito and flashes of occasional glimpses from toddy and flash imo our recruitment has been farrken awful. Where will we be in 2-3 years with our current squad?

We're assembling a squad that looks really good on paper but will underperform relative to their reputations. It's classic dumb football club stuff, no view to the future. None of the winning clubs for a long time have scored premierships by signing every twilight player that comes off - contract. ..it's like we live in a bubble where we're not even trying to study what has worked for other people.
