Yes I agree that the club needed a cleanout, but Elliot replaced them with rejects who were shown the door at Newcastle.
Tighe $170k
Woolnough $240k
Walsh ?
Elliot has never been able to attract top line players.

Do you honestly believe Matt Elliot is to blame for our failure to retain certain existing players and a failure to recruit new players to the Club.

Woolnough was not on anywhere near the figure you have quoted by the way. Still a good deal but not the above amount.

Our failure to bring in new recruitments for 2010 is nothing to do with Matt Elliot being head coach and I suspect it has more to do with the current state of finances of the Panthers Group of Entertainment.

My mail is the majority of the boys that played for Windsor NSW cup last year want out of the club as they know they will have limited opportunities while ever Elliott is at the helm.

There isn't alot of talent in the backs at Windsor, but there are a few good young forwards that will be going elsewhere for not much money. Penrith haven't even made offers to them.

It's becoming pretty clear we are operating well under the salary cap despite what the club claims.
Assuming this year we were at the cap.
We'll lose Woolnough 200k, Aiton 130k (?) Daniela 60k, JTK 50k, Elford possibly 70k
We've signed Simmons 60k, probably add 50k to Jennings contract, re-signed Bell for maybe an extra 30k, Paulo and Blair surely didnt get anything more than 30k extra between them on this years performances.

Those are just guesses and I might have forgotten a few but that leaves a shortfall of over 300k just this year to next and assuming this year we were right up against the cap. I wouldn't be surprised if we were half a mill under for next year atm. Anyone remember the statement that we'd be cutting costs by 500k? spooky...

Sorry fibro but based on there performances this year there is very few Windsor players that would cut it in first grade .Windsor got flogged most weekends in a very average standard competition
The part that worries me our u20 are in much the same position. We have little to no depth it looks like a long season next year even before it starts

Pretty hard to win games when your most potent attacking player all season was Craig Trindall.

Comes back to my issues with a Mr M Leary. Unless a player looks like being a superstar they get shafted. Look at what we lost. Yes they may not of help 1st grade but add Moke, Ward and Tuigamala to Windsor and Isa, Wright, Joudo to NYC we would be playing finals ATM. All of these players their contracts were allowed to runout. Pathetic!!!!!

Apparently we are rumoured to be signing Adrian Purtell from Canberra. Another DUD signing from the master coach.
Time to go Elliott and Leary.

It's hard to look forward to the next season whilst we still have the current board, management and coach in place. :(

Although I still wish those that we have retained and signed do, do well. It's not their fault we have crappy leadership.

Anything in the pipeline about Junior Moors --> Wests Tigers?

I will pop down to Hillsong this weekend and ask him if he is staying or going. While I'm there, I'll ask him how he went from being the most talented forward prospect in the Penrith district to a plodder.

luke clysdale has left the club turns 21 and not offered a contract .From that we can assume not only will there be no more signings but plenty of the windsor boys and guys from the u20 who turn 21 will not be there as well
