Gallen Fighting

Its a bit of an anti climax to me.

Sure, Gal is fighting, but I was hoping we'd get to see the handicap knuckle against Papali and Shillo. Flanno shouldn't make statements like he did if they aren't going to make it happen.

Instead he's fighting some rah rah sheep shagger.

This is worse than Pacquaio V Mayweather never going ahead.

f**k it.

I'm confidant Gal will soak up some of the guys punches for a round or two and then unload and near kill him in a scary display of sheer power.

This

I don't see Gal as a fighter. But one tough MF that won't quit. No doubt he can hit hard and it only takes one to land flush.

Still not sure if this is a good idea for our most important player, but since it is on anyway.

Knock him the f**k out Gal.

Yeah it is an early start for the prelims. Really hoping Whittaker gets the W. He'll get a UFC contract either way but he is such a likable guy.

He will mate.

The funny thing is he still doesn't realise how good he really is! He has the most unique stand up fighting skills I've ever seen

I'll show Paul Gallen who the tough guy is, says Hika Elliot

KIWI fighting machine Hika Elliot who wants to destroy Paul Gallen's tough-guy reputation.

Hika Elliot is a 114kg New Zealand rugby union hooker who is also a martial arts expert.

Unbeaten in 62 kickboxing fights, the 26-year-old will square off against Gallen in the Fight For Life boxing charity event next Saturday night in Auckland.

But asked what his aim would be when he stepped in the ring against the hard-as-nails NSW captain, charity appeared the furthest thing from his mind.

"I want to go for the knockout," Elliot said.

"When I tell people who I am fighting a lot of people say; 'Whoa, he is a bit of a tough nut.' He is. But with my experience in martial arts I am looking for a knockout."

Elliot has been studying martial arts since he was three and qualified for the 2008 World Karate Championships in Japan but had to withdraw because of his commitments to the All Blacks.

This bloke is going for the knock out.

Good luck Gal

This bloke sounds like a wanker.

Charity event mate not the olympics.

Not too mention that he can't use either his kickboxing or martial arts skills. It's boxing you bonehead and for charity.

FMD - I think he may have been tapped on the brain one time too many.
