accidental is not illegal Millers. Nobody got suspended for Quins concussion & he was out cold for 10 minutes. All this & an admission from aManering that his knee landed in his temple.

1.10 minutes of concussion normally takes significant more force that a blow to the head with an arm
2. Using the leg to kick or knee an opposition players head results in 10 weeks(Bird) to 18 months suspension.

The way I saw it was Gallen bounced up off the back of the other defender. Which I would say makes him innocent, the same as if he had bounced up off the ball.

Do you even know the rules? It wouldn't matter if his arm deflected off a low flying seagull. A player can NOT strike another player in the head. It's simple yet explicit. Coming off the shoulder or whatever does not mitigate the hit in the head.

As I've said before, I'm a dinosaur and not anti biffo or whatever but this is 2009, the rules are the rules, Gallen is a recidivist who is fast becoming a liability.

One more thing, it is not hard to do nor is it hard to believe that you can swing an arm in an upward arc and deliberately come off a shoulder or arm with the intent to land a screamer on someone's head. Not saying that this is the case here but think about it. Pretend to be an NRL footballer and think of ways to cream a skull.

It's easy, and it is done.

Gallen is my favourite Shark without a doubt. When he's playing football but he pisses me off to the nth degree with his "carelessness" and constant habit of putting his team under pressure.

Hope he gets off but if he doesn't, he makes his bed.

Actually yes I was injured .
I had a compressed fracture of a vertebra.
It happened in the first tackle of a game.
I took out the fullback off the kick off. I bumped into him years later and he told me that tackle ended his carrer as well.
I don't remember it but he was carried off with a rooted knee.
I played the rest of the game with basically a broken back.
Then spent the next 6 months getting physio.
I decided to quit while I was behind.

nowadays the game is designed for wogballers though.
