It's good to see Cpt Crybaby can do more than only connect when his opponent's hands are at his sides.

Oh wait.....

It was almost panic stations for Queensland, but its turned OK. Gallen says he'll be back for Origin. All is well north of the border.

Just wondering if there's anything we can do - us Queenslanders - to help Gallen's recovery. We have some very good doctors up here. Can we buy him a hyperbaric chamber perhaps?

We save the loudest "BOOO!" for Paul Gallen come Origin time. The man is hated yet respected as much as Wally Lewis was back in the day. Enough said.
when you say 'we', you dont speak for me.

i saw the entire career of wally, right from playing for valleys at 18 or 19. i dont hate gallen because of respect, or fear of what he may do against us. my hate stems from interviews where i see him never acknowledging that the current qld champions might just be too good. his whingeing about refs, too. and his grubbiness. he is just not as good as he thinks he is, imo.

Did one solitary Queenslander acknowledge that NSW were the better team after game 1 last year, rather than blame the refs? If they did, I didn't see it. Why do you expect better than you dish out?

Has any QLD player acknowledged that their NSW counterparts were just "too good" in any of SOOs 30+ year history?

FMD, talk about setting bullshit standards to justify your own short comings isaiah. Just admit you hate him for not much else other than he is a NSWelshman who hates Qld. There are plenty just like you

after 8 series, its pretty obvious this group of players is unlike any other from either state in 30+ years. in the few series before 2006 it looked like nsw could build a dominant side but some of your better players finished without having similar talent take their place. just look at the positions of prop and halves for qld over the 8 years. we had civ, price, locky, and thurston in 2006. as 3 of those have given it away, there has always been another as good to take his place. each time they were eased in off the bench with the older player still in the team. matt scott, nate myles, cooper cronk, cherry-evans. nobody rushed in or playing before their time.

where was or is nsw's succession plan? they just chop and change according to the latest nrl form and then implode when they lose and make mass changes.

Of course there has been. Both states have shown good sportsmanship over the years.

The way Gal carried on after Game 3 2011 was pretty embarrassing. In fairness, he acknowledged his behaviour the next night on the Footy Show but still the way he tried to pin it on the referees was borderline delusional.

Two words which sum-up Paul Gallen.
