Galvin v the Tigers

MIght have a fair bit to do with the team you follow and where Galvin is likely to land I'd say.
I’ve probably worked on construction sites for way too long but those jabs at Galvin were very snowflake like imo

Meanwhile has anyone checked in on benji? He’s been copping an absolute media frenzy but nobody seems to care about him

Imagine putting the hard yards into a kid, give him a shot at first grade, everything seems to be sailing smoothly … to have it all spat back at your face. He probably won’t admit it but I’d say he would start questioning his coaching ability a fair bit

There are only 2 NRL coaches who were regular halves as players. One of them is Ricky Stuart and the other is Benji. I don't understand the "I need to leave to develop as a half" angle, cos he sure ain't coming to the Raiders.
The whole "I need to develop as a half" is designed to do two things:
1. Divert from "its all about the money"
2. intentionally create a rift with Benji and the club to make him staying untenable.

Show me where Galvin has asked for a request to leave the club this year
If it was Moses that had a list of grievances that Galvin had against Benji and was reading them out to the CEO and that the Tigers was not the place for Galvin to develop as a half, it's the same as asking for a release without uttering those exact words. It's become an untenable situation unless Galvin rows back from his position although even that might be too late.

For those that follow the EPL, Conte who was coaching Spurs a couple of years ago had a go at the club for being unambitious at a press conference and within weeks was sacked and paid out. He could have resigned but wanted to be sacked to get the payout.

Same situation appears to be happening here. Galvin wants out and is putting the club in a situation where they will release him rather than have a player that doesn't want to be there for another 18 months. Play him in ressies I say and he can go when his contract runs out.

For me why this is a big deal and why it has blown up with the players etc, is that Galvin has 18months to go on his Contract, six months still to go before he can negotiate with other clubs.
So the problem is is that he gave the Tigers too much notice and too much time to make alternative plans.

Lol.....tell me you are a Parra fan without saying you are a Parra fan.........

If you read past that single sentence it is pretty clear that the problem is that Galvins manager has intentionally blown this up 18months from the end of his Contract.

Let me give you a better example for a simple Parra fan.....Dylan Brown recently waited until his option matured and took that option to negotiate an insane deal with Newcastle and will leave at the end of his Contract and go there. Sad story but thats the way it goes and Dylan held a press conference in which he said words the effect of "I love Parra but need to take this opportunity for me and my family. i look forward to doing my best for Parra this season".

Now imagine the scenario where 18months earlier Newcastle provide that offer to Dylan Browns manager and 18months before the end of his contract ends Browns Manager walks into Parra and says, dont even both making an offer when the option comes up because we wont be signing it and here is a list of why its because Jason Ryles and Mitchell Moses cant make Dylan a better player......Play on? All eetswa?

You are having one hell of a meltdown all because yet another up and coming young player doesn't want to be at your club.

There's no point in replying to anything you've said as it's 90% speculation. But please, continue to rage. It makes for great reading.

People are giving Galvin and MON/Sarantinos too much credit if they think this is some back door deal initiated by either of them.

This is Isaac Moses 101. Saw Dylan Brown head out the door on a massive deal while Parra struggle with a useless new coach, figured Parra would want some good PR in grabbing a replacement and pay f**ken well for it. Especially off the back of the money given to Brown.

His next step will be to get Galvin released early at all costs, even if it makes the kid look like even more of a f**kwit

Oh, so you're saying that he will ask for a release, but he hasn't done so yet. Right?

So you're going off with tears based on something you think is going to happen. Yeah that's stable.
What happened to "There's no point in replying to anything you've said as it's 90% speculation." that only lasted 21 minutes.

No tears here, Im actually looking forward to a Latu/Luai dynasty but nothing I have said based on speculation it is based on things I know as fact because I am working from a different body of evidence and knowledge than you....which is actually pretty stable.

1000% percent. Based on the way he has gone about it, I wouldnt be surprised if Moses hasnt sweetened the deal with a "2025 Bonus" as well (that bit is speculation for Last Week).

Says the guy having a meltdown over a guy going into bat for the club he supports … lol

you’d have to be pretty thick to not understand the dominoes that are about to fall
