I certainly hope any club looking to sign this sook is paying close to the Tigers monster offer.

Glenn Stewart remebers all about "market value", let's hope the NRL do too.

You mean Parramatta and Israel Folomophobe right?

Right?

Probs for the best in hindsight

This is absolutely f**king ridiculous and sets a horrible precedent. NRL need to setup a proper transfer window ASAP and reign in these rogue player managers.

It's not a "transfer" window really. It should be called what it is, a signing window. I'm tired of the laziness when they come up with some of these terms as they are just bloody imported, often from the US, without any nod to the context.

Wanted/happy to extend stay at Manly on a reduced salary, NRL said lulzno you have to pay him thiiiiiiis much. So we couldn’t keep him and he left for the Mixos.

One of the stupidest things the NRL ever brought in and continue to push. If a player genuinely stays for a lesser salary at a club, then that is on them. The NRL shouldn't be saying how much a club should be paying if the player is willing to take a lesser amount top stay or go somewhere.

We used to have one and it achieved sweet f**k all. The media, clubs, players and fans already knew where players were going.

People act like the soap opera of the NRL is a bad thing, all this shit keeps us in the media all year long.

Agreed.

I dont understand all the talk of how a "transfer window" would fix what is happening with Galvin at the Tigers. There is already a defacto transfer window from 1 Nov the year before the end of the Contract. Galvin was almost 12 months before this when he dumped this on the Tigers. Parra & Moses have constructed this outside of any transfer window or any timeline within the current rules. What makes anyone think it would be any different under a different timeframe?

All this drama for such an overrated player.

Tigers are better off to have him gone.

And his A Hole manager.

It’s also very simple to control these A Hole managers.

If the Clubs joined forces they could cripple him by saying any player being managed by him they won’t deal with them.

The choice of Clubs for his players would soon diminish. But problem is the Clubs wouldn’t be united over this.

I think Galvins probably a good kid, a bit spoilt but hes gone his whole juniors being told what a gun he is by everyone so understandable. This is by far more an Issac Moses power play to get one over Benji.

Lachie does what all talented 19 year old halves do, takes some good options and lots of bad ones. He doesent really play to a structure and I think would be a tough one to coach. I said since last year I thought Latu was a better fit for us then Galvin, and thats not cause I think hes a bad a player, hes clearly hugely talented, I just think Latu plays a lot more direct and like a traditional half. I cant even say how galvin plays, its like a mix between 1/6/7.

$1m is way overs for where hes at, like when we offered Stefano $800k last year, weve been fortunate the players knocked us back.

At least he hasnt packed it in, hes still putting in on the field and thats all I ask as a fan.

TBF it was brought in to stop blatant rorting of the cap, like when Darren Lockyer was apparently on $250k his most of his career, or when Souths signed Latrell for $400k less then we offered, oh what the NRL still allowed that?

Exactly. Wouldn't be a problem if every club just said "managed by Moses? Not interested". The problem is even Uncle Nick buckled to get a player he wanted.

Parra think they're getting the next Brett Kenny. Will have a good chuckle when they end up getting the next Ben Kusto.

That is unless of course he comes to my team. In which case he's a future star.

That's how you have an each way bet kids.
If the Dogs sign Galvin, I want a 2-hour long forensic podcast of all Gould's foxing and smoke + mirrors regarding his availability this year.

If the Tigers release Galvin, it just further solidifies Isaac Moses power and makes Richo's blustering all look a little silly.
We know he’s going at the end of next season. We can either move him on now and get something in return for him, or hold onto him and let it become some massive sideshow. We’ve got a replacement ready in Latu Fainu so we may as well cut bait providing we have the right replacement incoming.

Guess Burton moves to centre and they punt Montoya ?

Bringing in a new half when they are coming first would have huge risks to team harmony and cohesion
