If it’s dogs their long term plan would be 6. Galvin 7. Woods. It seems obvious Sexton won’t be there next year. Nto sure where this leaves Burton.

Anasta ain’t a fan of Wests, his views on this whole situation are based off his dislike for Isaac Moses.

Maybe I can dream of Burton to Parra, I for one wouldn't complain. We need a quality centre if nothing else, but I do think his skillset is absolutely fine as a six with a half like Cleary/Moses/Reynolds running the side.

Burton is really underrated at this point. He spent the last 3 years with awful halfbacks and keeping his side in the game off his boot. The amount of times he turned a shit set into a decent one with great kicks from his own 30-40m is insane.

A guy I know who’s involved with Balmain said the club believe he’s going to Canterbury. Gus has been pitching to him for a year via the media which really needs to be looked into.

It seems a weird match to me, not sure the dogs really need him, he’s kinda the opposite of what they’ve built the last 18 months off.

From a halves POV i would have thought Panthers or Eels would be perfect for him. Go with an experienced 7 and allow him to play on the left. Considering the Eels have made no attempts to sign a 6 for next year i have no doubts they’ve been lead to believe he’s going there. If he does end up at Canterbury hopefully they ban dealing with Issac.
I so hope he goes to the dogs, just to screw over the eels.

Problem is is he hasn't developed much at all. As a player is he is still pretty much what he was in 2021. Not really his fault as like you said, he hasn't had the right halves partner. Galvin would be in the same boat if he went there really, short term at least.

Yeah he's stalled a bit that's fair. Still a f**king stud though

I see Anasta is having a yap about it.
“Do you want that for your club? Do you want to play next to that guy?
“You know what, see you later. I don’t see any issue with it, I think the club has taken the right stance. We can say the manager (Isaac Moses) has won and he has and it’s not good and we shouldn’t allow this."

Conflict of interest much? It's already been well demonstrated that Braith isn't above using his position as a commentator to try and get a leg up with negotiations. Now using it to cast shade on another manager. Deserved shade I might say (Moses is a grub and should have been permanently banned a long time ago) but that's not the point.
It's similar to Gus being a club CEO and commentator. No conflict of interest here.

After the Jackson Topine situation, I’m surprised the Dogs would show even a seconds interest in a player who secretly compiles as dossier of evidence to take his club to Court in the event he doesn’t get exactly what he wants - seems a shithouse, snakey way of working that hardly enables the club or players to fully trust him.
Also, aren’t Chrichton, Burton and Kikau still bum buddies with Luai and Turuva? Surely they’d be very cautious of Galvin…

Gus' grooming of Galvin from his media outlets has been sickening. He should be on a register and wearing an ankle bracelet.

You can whinge all you want about I. Moses, but Gus abuses his privileged positions relentlessly.
