I have been on the road since 6.30 this morning. Left Castle Hill at 4pm to drive out past Rylstone ( where I am now), made it to Richmond & hit the traffic near Richmond oval. Took 45mins to get to north Richmond. Long day & I'm stuffed. (kids footy in mudgee at 8am)

but now I'm happy & going to stay up!

That traffic there and Windsor rd is the reason i moved up the north coast 6 years ago, no i get impatent if i have to wait for one car to turn on the highway.

Pretty wet conditions. I'm not sure I'd read too much into this game and take the 2 points and be happy. After the heartbreak they must have felt when they found out about the Storm, being down by 6 after having led 12-0, they've done pretty damn well away from home IMO.

Well....people are waiting to see evidence that he can play. The odd try from backing up or showing courage to get up after being hammered isn't going to cut it.

I'd love to see it happen but until it does I'll have my doubts on him.

you cant get away from the fact though, that Morts is having a tough time this season.

The kid needs to out his head down and work hard, forget the press stuff.

He isn't having a good season but then a lot of our bigger names weren't either until last week - stats suggest his first half was much worse than his second and it also suggests he hasn't dropped his head and stopped trying. Some of the more experienced players so far haven't done too well this week either.

As for the media commitments, given it seems to be part of his deal then that could well be a bit hard.

Halfback will always be the hardest position at the club while fans expect too much.

Give him a break, Ok his had a bad half but he continually gives it his all and things aren't working out at the moment. The kid has to much skill and talent, He will reach form. Give him time.

Pre-conceived ideas don't take away from the fact the kid is capable. He was always going to be up against it this year regardless. Some people expect Sterling like performances every week. Johns, Prince, Thurston, Cronk, Kimmorley....... every decent halfback has struggled early in their career.
