Haven't seen a vendor yet.

Oh and a Pizza and Kebab shop out the back of the concourse would be good.

I don't leave early, but I do understand people who leave early when the game is decided, 5 mins early not 20 mins, they're trying to beat traffic which I get. Only games I go to a year is Newc vs Bris, I'm in Bris and thos games have been close usually, so I have not wanted to leave early.

I gotta say it, but the only thing that used to bug me (before I started to bring my own chow, was the lineups for food, the beer and spirits people have it sussed out at most grounds(especially the SFS) but the food people are very slow sometimes with service, dont buy food, just make some rolls up at home, do you really have to line up for fifteen minutes for a pie?
I get my grog before the game and at the break, I watch the whole game I dont miss a second.

ive never understood why people who pay so much for good seats at a game espeically origin spend half their time lining up for beer instead of watching the game! :?

also i would never leave a game early.... ive sat through so many games where we have been flogged but i have never left early. it just something i wouldnt do, i believe that you support your team through the good time and the bad and that means sticking around when they are doing it tough.

i agree about the issue of people sitting halfway down the hill with big camping chairs. it really annoying!

one last thing... the girls that just walk around and do laps of the stadium! (i bet they were sad now that there is a new grandstnad making it harder for them to do laps) one guy i was sitting near summed it up perfectly - they pay $10 to walk around in skimpy outfits, do laps of the stadium and go home not even knowing the who won or who was playing.
im a 16yr old girl but i go to the footy to watch teh game, not have my view blocked by some other girls walking around not knowing what sport is being played  go to the shopping centre for gods sakes! its no wonder girls dont get taken seriously about liking the footy

Well, I hate the northern and southern hills because they are so bloody uncomfortable. Seriously, I wasn't ever that uncomfortable when the hill used to be there on the now eastern grandstand. My bum was so sore at the end of the day, lol.

Nuffy, you've hit the nail on the head. But you have got to remember that full strength beer being cut off at half time is part of the knights Responsible service of alcohol policy.

It is my understanding if you get to the footy when the gates open you can drink 22 cans of beer pryor to only being allowed to drink lite. If you get there just before 1st grade and drink only 2 beers, it would be irresponsible of the bar staff to serve you another.

Unless you pay big dollars and get your own corporate box you can drink till your heart is content.

If the outside world worked on this policy, all bars would shut at 9.00pm which would of course stop people from becoming intoxicated.

Snapper it is a rule in name only. you can still buy the maximum 4 full strength beers at the end of half time.

you would be going well if you can put away 4 beers in 40 minutes, after your previous 22.

Maybe that is the idea. to encourage patrons to get the beers into themselves early so they don't waste the glow on the trip home.

Very true Eddo. I just think the rule is very much an image policy not a workable one. It doesn't really worry me that much anymore. It's just that I forgot about it last Sunday and ended up with 2 Sterlings about 5 minutes into the 2nd half.

On the issue of lining up and getting food or drink during the game. I normally duck off when there's a break in play as the lines are generally pretty short. The footy is a social outing for me and my friends and family, and we all enjoy a few beers with the game. It's just what we've always done.

You should all do what i do, I bring along my lovely boyfriend who gets my beer and food :D Im so lucky.

I honestly dont get leaving before full time. The couple next to me at the broncos v knights game left at about 70 mins....and missed the best game all season. (they were bronco supporters so they prob wouldnt see it the same way) BUT they could of won and then missed something amazing...

weirdos.

Whats the point in even going, if all you want to do at the end is beat everyone out of the carparks, watching your team is the NO.1 priority.
