They did 5 days between Sat and Mon or Sun and Fri anyway.

When Monday night footy came in they started to whinge about the short turn around to Saturday and I was always confused because I never heard anyone whinge when it was Sunday into Friday.......which is the same......

NRL has to sort this out to make the game fair and just.

How the comp is designed from week to week is the issue here.

Just don't think its right when turnarounds vary between two opposing outfits.

Over a season there is also the quality of a side facing another in any particular game with one of them gaining an unfair advantage over all other NRL squads... location, travel, SOO, tiredness, etc.

Season points need to be earned fairly by all teams otherwise the competition can be seen to be rigged and bullshit.

Agreed and this contributes to the problem.

Maybe its time for two conferences each made up of 8 to ten teams playing each other twice and the top two or three or four from each conference go on to play each other twice and the top two play for a grand final premiership or something like that????
