Jnr was pretty $hit tonight I thought- Worse of our props. He has been a standout but if your paying him those big $$ you do not want to many games like that

Well looking back, they did their best to keep Parramatta out of the game, but they can stick it. The Taka no try was an absolute howler.

That's how much I loved tonight's win. We never panicked, we defended well and the kicking game was spot on tonight. We also shut down Manly's best attacking options in Korisau, Walker, Lyon and Stewart.

Great win Parra. And Beau Scott you're a champion.

We just wore them down, that had chances to put us away in the 2nd half but couldn't break us and when it mattered we had the points in us they didn't.
Manly will make the 8 with the side they, tough underrated forward pack.
both teams off 5 day turn arounds but they had to fly back from NZ as well.

I'm glad the players didn't panic because I was panicking enough for all of them. It's great to see them deal with adversity now just for me to learn how to do it

Yet another game where we absorbed serious pressure.

Last year I was crapping my pants as soon as we gave away a penalty or were forced to drop out. Now, I'm starting to get excited by that kind of adrenaline.

For me, reading back over this thread was hilarious in parts because it was a real strong emotion being fired at the refs, the bunker and the nrl and yet we went on to win the game. Those old days 2011-2014 of f**ked reffing and our squad pissing in their pants are over. Yipppeeeeeeee.

Tom didn't seem impressed just now when the woman interviewing him burst into giggles about Scott running him down.

LOLLL as well - he wanted to be out of there. It looked like he was wanting a hole to crawl in and cry. For Lyon and Tom. it must feel real bad knowing they were completely done over by Semi. Poor Tom's hope for SOO would have gone down the gurgler tonight. I like Tom a lot, think he has a massive future in front of him. He seems to be a really top bloke. I like the fact he was really hurting after the game. This shows signs of being a really top class player in the making.

Great win from us, but wow the refs and the bunker have no idea, Even Gus said we got robbed on the obstruction no try. This team just keeps getting tougher very proud of there effort.

Injecting IDG was very important. He sped up our linespeed and our dummy half play. He's also usually the one going for charge downs and pressuring the kicker

Peats was knackered just tackling.

Before IDG came on, no one was pressuring the kickers and they had time galore before they kicked.

We need this 2 hooker rotation.

And Beau bloody Scott. There were times there were some tired defenders and miss tackles and Scott cleaned them up.

Gutho makes decent meters thou. And I was a critic.

I think Gordon is killing attacking raids with bad ball playing skills. He just has a $hit pass when we inject the fullback into those run around plays and throwing a cut out pass to the winger. He does not execute well. Robo was crap but great at this play.

I think Gutherson will end up our Long term fullback and wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there later in year.

Agree hindy about Gordon injecting himself into the backline, he doesn't know when to pass and just stifles the play. Semi needs early ball get it too him son.

The thing is, hard yards are not his go. Or at least, not what makes him so damaging. He's best following a quick play-the-ball, like Terepo, or hitting gaps either in the middle or out wide. Obviously has a good offload too.
