This forum never changes. Everyone too over excited about a trial last week and then the opposite this week.
We looked average but our round 1 team will look very different to the one that ran out tonight, hopefully the injuries keeping Mitch, junior etc are healing well.
Liked what I saw from Williams, a few others out there just going through the motions trying not to get injured.
To top it all off we had to deal with the worst ref/video ref combo in the game

This had a lot of BA stench about it, just a trial but we are weak in the forwards

Completion rate terrible, no chance with the errors. Defence was pretty decent. Attack looked ok, when we actually held the ball. We had no problem making metres.

Thought Doorey was pretty good, in his first game, in his new role in the middle...

Will get better.

Moretti was good in attack, but needs to work harder in defence

Dont think Tago did enough to get a wing spot. But who else is there? I would have lomax on the wing.

Lomax was quiet. Williams / Hopgood did good. Don't think Grieg did enough to get a top 17 spot. Doubt Cartwright did enough for an edge spot (unless injuries).

good fitness hit out for Matterson/Kelma, will be better for the hit out!

Smith improved, think he needs a few games in NSW cup before being in serious contention.

The last thing I would ever want to do mate, is offend your culture. In times like these, having compassion for culture has never been more important. As you have said, I/we don’t know you. Can I suggest that you look at how people interact here. Words are thrown around as just words. Also, if you don’t want to engage in that way, perhaps you may think about how you comment as well.
