Would you call someone a merkin to their face in boggabri?

Gee we are very light on in several poitions.
for example edge forwards. Kelma, Cartwright, Kautoga, who else? IMO Guymer, Lane, Matto aren't quick or explosive enough.

Same with wingers and no.9.

Lane and Matto are middles these days, Hands is OK We have 3 or 4 decent wingers but they seem to get injured frequently ( or r suspended) , tonight was tough without an experienced half .

Carty had some decent games outside Mitch, there is that I guess.

That last try we had Kier next to Hands Guymer and Samrani on the wing not sure I want to see that again.

I’m not going to knife JR if things go pear shaped this season. Our club has basically had open heart surgery within the last several months. I expect some beatings throughout 2025 but it’s beyond this season is where I’ll have stronger expectations.

Especially the ones who are supposed to be NRL starting players..

Williams I can see why Ryles wants him as the front rower to lead the defensive line just needs better first contact.

Kelma has almost played himself out of the starting role - if we had someone better

Hopgood looks underdone as well.

On some better notes Russell and Will Penisini look fitter and stronger they both made some nice runs from our line.

Can see Russell and Simmonson battling it out for a wing spot when JAC is back.
