fmd man.. as if we were ever a chance from that position regardless of the kick
There's more chance if the kick is long with Pebbles outside to chase. It was a total misread and a poor option. Even if you are going to kick short make it a chip not a frikkin grubber. He's supposed to be a superstar

Penrith first real game this year and we still can't get them. Very disappointing
Exactly and some hadn't even had a hit out.
Next time someone says we need to give a player time to come back from injury, look at this game the Panthers had players straight back in and they perform

I know your disappointed but at least we gave them a run for their money, normally we would have had the flood gates open, it wasn’t a bad effort, saying that if we had a better halves we could have won this match.

A great game.
We're not far off.
We haven't scored more than a try against them for years.
Hard game people, against the best team of the NRL era, I'm impressed.

Yeah. I didn’t think it was too bad for the first hit out of the year. They are still insanely physical and quick off the line which will contain most teams.

A little bit worrying that some of the silly behaviours still exist. But put that down to the bright lights of Vegas and the bullshit of an exhibition game hype.

Reckon we need a bit more zip / speed though.

The unforgivable 1%ers are still there. The great teams don’t fail to find touch, kick off on the full or drop the kick off. That was frustrating. All up, was a quality game and we’re not far off. Excited for the year

Missed a big opportunity targeting Alomoti in that set where trindall went himself and died with it on the last. Had to go left to Hynes there and I reckon we score.

they are just too physical. Learn a lesson and move on. I wish Wilton would become as physical as Martin.

We were a Cameron McInness off load to AFB away from going under the sticks and leading with ~5 to go.
Need to take our chances. There were plenty of others too.

I'd like to be excited and say we got close to the premiers etc etc but it's the same dumb shit, switching off and errors from the same players for the last 3 or 4 years.

And that’s after doing our best early in the second half to give them an insurmountable lead with some stupidity.
