I reckon Gower may replace Issac, in the training photos from the other day in the ball work session it looked like Gower was with the NRL side and Issac in the Reserve side.

Late Mail: Star playmaker Kieran Foran has been ruled out after being granted a leave of absense. The Eels are yet to confirm who will replace him, but Mitch Cornish could come into the halves.

Tim Mannah looks set to return from a shoulder injury. The skipper is back into full training and completed Thursday’s session without issue. The Eels medical staff will see how his body pulled through before making a call on Thursday morning.

This is the other reason i want norman signed asap. If we had say foz and brooks next year, and foz goes down, then we're stuck witj a mediocre half and backup half

Every club is like that though. Just ask Roosters, Manly and Souths who have not has their gun 6 & 7s run out much together this season.

Tonight, I'd like to see Edwards at 6, Gower at 17... and Cornish be given the opportunity to train with the firsts team before playing his first game of first grade for us.

Interesting that Mannah may make a return... might be worth putting him on the bench (instead of say Peni) for a forwards clash like this?

Peats and Ma'u back against the dogs Mark II will hopefully will negate the loss of Foran

If we just play like we have been, we should scrap away with a win or blow them off the park, the dogs are very inconsistent this year. They don't seem to be convincing when sides go toe to toe with them.

I think for tonights game defence is more important that attack. If cornish plays they will run t-rex at him all night which will end bad.
