just saying the same to my mate - he’s not afraid of the contact, and that’s a great trait in a half... Chad sometimes looks scared to take on the line.

Trindall is not only aiming up in defence, he’s trying to hurt blokes. And most importantly, his first few steps after receiving the ball are forwards, it makes such a huge difference in terms of holding up their defensive line and creating space. That half a second where they have to be ready for him running and then change direction to drift out is crucial.

Agree he needs to do more, but what he has done has been at speed and been direct.
There was one short side play where he was having behind the ruck and then took off to the blind side called the ball and hit the advantage line at pace. haven’t seen that for a while.

Brailey has been the conductor. Johnson and Trindall can run off that. Our big guys aren’t rolling through like last week (first 40)

Well that's just a different kind of balance. Trindall defending better perhaps but Chad leads the attack better.

Trindall also not kicking. 2 kicks for 51 metres.

I love Trindall, been talking him up for years but he's not putting in a Messiah like performance.

That's the real Messiah I mean. Not that impostor here with 27 names LOL
