GAME DAY vs The Sea Pigeons

Great win given the inability of teams this season to hold onto leads. Trindall's error that led to Manly's first try could have been the turning point but the Sharks showed some resilience to put the game away.

Hynes was active and, apart from a couple of bad missed tackles, was strong. Iro is a beast. He is fast becoming an elite centre. Burns made some crucial plays. Brailey ran more and often had no support, which needs to be fixed.

What about the trajectory of DCE.
Goes public to Danny Weird-ler about his COS situation to force someone’s hand. And now the whole joint imploding.
Takes a million a year for 10 years post bailing in the titans deal and now playing pass the paper parcel with roosters.
Be keen to see him at Manly’s old boys day in years to come.
Flog

Sometimes great players just hit a wall, won't be surprised if that is the case here.

May have the odd flash or game, but hopefully the Rorters have spent a heap and another lemon

Still can't ice a game though.

A couple of arsey tries masked it, but there were a few occasions where we should have been working for a field goal to put the game beyond reach and we never looked like it.

The only time they tried, once again, they played too far up field and ended up tackled ~3 metres out.
I don't know how hard it is get it through their heads that that is way beyond where they should be setting up to.

I'll take the win every day of the week, but there's still loads to work on if we're to be considered anything like a serious threat IMHO.

See how we are really placed this week. We have in the past played the storm with some of their key players missing. I think they will be full strength this week

What f**king spud 'expert' gave Ben Turbo a Dally M point?
For getting in Nico’s grill? Dunno to be honest. You turn in a team performance like that in Nulla and Nico needs to be put in the house of mirrors from the media.
Not much heat on Manly - Turbo playing injured ( I assume he always is) and DCE ( I guess he’s already out the door)
They did there best to try and get revved up - its a great snippet online of Nathan Brown coming off second best off the the back fence. Only to get up upset and needing a disprin.
Love it

Spot on.

Tom Turbo obviously injured. Almost feel like he’s rushed back to try and con selectors into a 50k pay day only to go down mid game.

DCE looks likes he’s given up on the year.

Not gonna lie I did like the suicide run by Brown but loved even more our blokes not backing down and smashing him. But f**k carrying on made him look like a spoilt brat. If he’d gotten up laughing and gone again next kick off would have gotten into the heads more than being petulant.

But Ben Turbo for a point… Dally M’s a joke. Kennedy for 2? Had a really solid game, but a lot more better performers out there (great team effort overall by the way, not diminishing Kennedys great job at the back, but he wasn’t second best in field by a long shot.)
