I have now caught up to the current episode.

My big prediction is we are going to finally see Coldhands. He'll show up in the wilderness and help Bran and Meera, like how he helped them find Bloodraven in the books.

Yeah I think he might show up too. I don't think Bran and Meera will fare well on their own.

So Hodors life was always meant to be like that because of Bran

Not gonna lie, that ending broke me a little bit. f**king devastating.

I don't think Hodor dying was enough on its own, but to learn that his entire life was defined by a sacrifice he would make at his death was just heart-breaking.

Wonderfully done.

Well, over the last twelve days I've learned to expect to be crushed by this show.

The ending of that episode was the most crushing of them all.

yeah someone else suggested that to me and I'm like, '...oh yeah, true'.

Maybe, the show will combine the characters of Benjen and Coldhands. I don't think they're the same character in the book, Coldhands is too old to be Benjen.

I really hope this is what happens.

I don't want Benjen to be another forgotten characters, like Gendry.

If next week's preview mentions Benjen, we'll know straight away. They'd have to include him in the preview, since most people will have forgotten his character by now (being 5 years ago).

I liked the Ep, Hodor's death was very very well done - although it seems there is something about the character I'm missing as I didn't find it even remotely close to the saddest death. Every wolf death has been worse, for a start.

What I find interesting though is that death was IMO the first that was done in such a way that you simply could NOT do in a written format in any way that would be anywhere near as satisfying. be interesting to se how that is tackled in the next book
