The only thing worse than the 'too slow' complaints are the book fans (particularly on the ASOIAF forums/reddit) who complain about characters on the show teleporting around. Nobody wants to watch characters ride across grassy plains on horseback or sail across the sea for an hour. Go read the books again if you want that.

I think it's explained in the books about time and travelling around. Some chapters take place over a few hours, some days, same weeks and occasionally chapters can span a few months. It's not always easy to translate that to the screen

Can you elaborate on that theory? But I must say that I was disappointed in Arya for having her guard down like that.

The theory is that arya had been training for years to be an assassin, she wouldn't just rock out, drop huge amounts of cash in the open to try to book a cabin on a boat back to westeros

Would Arya with said training be just kicking back unarmed looking at the view knowing the waif would be coming for her ?

The theory is that the person who books the ship and gets stabbed is sexy Jesus. He told the waif not to let Ayra suffer so it's him she stabbed not the real Ayra.

Also people are pointing out the last time we saw Ayra she had needle and was covered in dirt. Not all clean and unarmed

There is also a theory that sexy Jesus has taken Ayra's identity to go stab Jon snow as he has cheated God out of a death

Another theory is that Arya is one half of her while the waif is the part of her that is no one

If the waif kills the Arya we know she then become no one

Finally sexy Jesus told the waif not to let Arya suffer but she twisted the knife

As long as shit gets real in the last three episodes I am extremely happy with the way stuff has been built up in the last two.

Clegane Bowl, Bastard Bowl, Blackfish v Kingslayer, no more Dorne.

should be all excitement from here on in. I have quite enjoyed this season over last.

will be interesting to see how far the brotherhood without banners storyline goes.. would love to see lady stoneheart but I am not sure they will go that far.

Also I look at the books as canon and the tv show as a "legend" story based off them.
Prefer books but enjoy tv show (this season at least).

Also there is some thought that if it is Arya somehow the actress she was meant to kill finds her and fixes her or is involved somehow eg She had bags of pigs blood supplied by the actors and is unharmed

I think Arya was definitely trolling the Waif by walking around in broad daylight. I'm not really behind the theory that it's Jaqen but Arya is very cunning and I'm sure she has a plan here.

Yeah, the more you think about it, the more ridiculous the idea sounds that Arya would just loiter around in broad daylight, stare at the canal in peaceful serenity and then happily chat to a 'kind old woman'.

Who knows, maybe it was sexy Jesus - dying to pay for the actress's life that Arya saved. But I don't say that with any confidence.

Reading some classic theorycrafting, some of which butch alluded to, I don't mind the one that Arya and the waif are the same person. It would make the whole 'A girl is no one' shit a bit more appealing and give it more purpose... but I'm not convinced on the feasibility either.
