Cornish is a worse defender than Sandow, and still uncontracted for next year. He's not even third choice half for Canberra. Beau Henry isn't just uncontracted for next year - he is uncontracted by any NRL club for this year either.
Miller's a good attacking player but was a poor defender when he left. Kelly at least defends at NRL level.

Robson is better than Kelly but would he want to go through another year of pain for less than $80k to play at Ringrose?
How about Tim Moltzen ? Maybe he could kick start his career again ....speaking to a Tigers fan he said Moltzen was playing well in NSW Cup ......a cheap contract offer maybe ?

Hayne the two-time wooden spoon winner?
Bit unfair - he can't carry the whole team ...although he virtually did last year and almost got us into the top 8 ......Arthur got the praise...but realistically ...last years wins were 90% Hayne .....if he fails in the NFL though he won't come back ....he'll go to a successful club ....probably the Roosters .....

Pauli Pauli has the potential to be as good if not better than Taumaulolo, but I'm not sure he will ever reach that potential.

I'd play him in the middle instead of the edge, especially considering next season we have at least 4 or 5 (Scott, Mau, Moeroa, Edwards and probably Gower) that are all better options on the edge than Pauli.

Pauli and Jnr are the bookends (bugden and Leabeater) with the one two punch to get us to go forward.

I too would try that with the promise of more game time.

I think Manu Mau's place in the side next season would surely be in jeopardy? He is not as good as many on here make out. He was ineffective last night and has been for a while.

He is ineffective because he has Paulo giving him the ball. When Norman comes back into the side in his proper position and gives him the early ball that he needs, the right side will be dangerous again

He's a fairly average NRL standard first grade player, but next year he will still be the best option we have as the left edge forward.

Who in the current contracted players for 2016 would be ahead of him?

You obviously don't watch a lot of Parra games by that statement.

Sooo 1 error for the Elgey try and a tackle he couldn't make on Roberts for his try.
He actually saved another try tackling Mead.

What about the 140+M he made?

He didn't have a shocker or even that bad of a game, he just wasn't his usual best.

You put up better defence than Semi displayed last night. Onya mate. He had an off game..in other words a SHOCKER...and everyone is entitled to one of those.
Keep the glasses on....

I completely agree.
Don't really see why everyone thinks he's so great.

Are people seriously questioning Mau's place in the side??? His form has tapered off the last few weeks due to the loss of Norman but before the supsension he was one of our best players every week.

What about Gower?? The last month his form has fallen off a cliff. Mau is the least of our problems.

Psst.... Ma'u plays on the left.
;-)
Ahh yes. That is what i meant.
Once Norman get's back to being in the halves, the side of him, Ma'u, Taka and Semi will start putting the points on again.
It's not a coincidence that Semi hasn't scored since Norman went off injured against the bulldogs

Agree merkin. The Chairman can only deal with what he's been given. Norman used to give him early ball which allowed him to shimmy and off load.

At the moment he is dealt up shit and has a man on him almost when he catches it.
