Was Gallen the only one playing?

Yep. Overplayed a fair bit, made 110m more than any other forward. We need to use him as a decoy as teams are always expecting him to get it.

Very poor bench rotation as has already been noted. Smith 44 mins????

We were flat and dropped too much ball. The forwards didn't dominate and our halves didn't deliver enough direction. The halves are a work in progress and will be hit and miss for a while. We can't afford for our forward to not dominate.

Graham's kicking game lacked variety and precision. He really needs a spiral bomb.

We lacked game awareness in defending Brod against Fisiiashi at an attacking scrum. He was smoked on the outside. It is not too much to expect backs to defend from scrums.

On the plus side, Cordoba was strong and is much improved this season. Gardner was dynamic. Without him our attack would be dreadful.

This was a game we should have won and shows that we are a long way from being a good side. Back down to earth from the last 2 great performances. Next week is a hige game for us. Manly are at a similar level to us and we need to win home games to have a shot at the finals.

last week we abondoned the left. This week, we forgot about the right. Berrigan was on zero tackles at the 65 minute mark.

All these claims of the Warriors being desperate......what the f**k were when we lost 13 in a row???
Its no excuse, warriors wanted it more....Sharks played like they expected to win...WRONG!!!!

shoulda coulda woulda...
was gunna be tough
they let themselves down in areas - kicking is major problem.
Wade graham was average - should call him boss hog

Yeh he scored a good try & the next time he got in the same position, he tried it again & cost us an overlap. He does lack awareness as we had another chance to score a try after some hot potato passes had dragged in the defence & instead of flicking it out to the backs, he runs back to where most of the warriors were.

He will get better though:

Came off to have a calf iced up.

Thought Flanno got the tactics wrong yesterday.

You don't get into arm wrestles with the Warriors you have to move the ball around and tire them out. A tired Warriors side makes lots of errors and bad and lazy reads in defense. Not surprising we looked really good when we chanced our hand out wide with 10minutes to go. And it shouldn't just be one side as many here have pointed out.

Thought Snowden was very average yesterday. Don't know if he's got his mind on other things since Tinkler's successful takeover but he really looked like a N.S.W Cup player yesterday. We need him to be at his best next week against Manly as they have been playing very physical.

John Mannah was outstanding. Best game I have seen from him. What came out yesterday was some real aggressiveness that I think he has lacked with his game at times. But he ran with real authority yesterday and was spraying Warrior defenders with each run. Actually I was very happy with our bench forwards yesterday except Aiton who seems to have lost some direction in his game.

Our halves weren't as dangerous but as many have said they are young and still learning and still inconsistent.

Can we give the telegraphed inside ball to Gardner a bit of a rest? f**k he's already had a few hospital balls that could've seen him on the sidelines for the rest of the year. Very overplayed tactic. He's actually more valuable from 2nd phase play and that is what we should be concentrating on with him. Not the telegraphed set plays.

Thought the 50/50 calls went very badly against us. Especially a couple of supposed strips from us and there is no way Gardner was tackled on the last in that collision that happened attacking the Warriors line.

But you don't win footy games if you don't win the ruck. And we lost it badly. The Warriors held us down really well and we couldn't stop their quick play the balls at key times and a lot of their tries came from quick play the balls that left our defense stretched and disorganised.

But having said all that it was still an entertaining game of footy to watch and it is great to see some tries from our guys each week. That we have certainly missed in recent years!

I enjoyed the game. Whilst you still suck, you don't suck as bad as you used too......:sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:.......and the game was a real contest. Seeing Smithy with his calf iced up doesn't bode well. I know its a continual management thing and a precaution, but its chronic and when it goes on him, he misses big chunks of footy. Still, I'm planning on getting his likeness tattooed onto ny right butt cheek & I haven't done that for anyone else before.

I thought you wnet away from your strengths a bit and ignored Pom (can't believe I just wrote that) who has been very good this year. Hardly touched the ball as my wife informed me as she loaded up on Sharks in her Supercoach team this week. That'll learn her.

Overall, youse were a bit scrappy and clueless at times, but thats to be expected away from home with young halves. Thing I would be pleased about as a Sharks fan is at least they have some enterprise with the pill in hand under Flanno. Keep completing and working in defence and that will improve too.

Thats my wisdom imparted. See you at Kogarah for the rematch losers.

I thought Graham was good. There were times when the passes could have been pushed but instead were held. Even though an opportunity was missed, there was no error. Probably one of the big differences between this year & last year. But the squad is better than last year so that is expected.
