I tell you who impressed me last night, and not so much in what he did out there but more so in what I saw that he will be able to do in the years to come.... Trent Merrin...

He's how old again? and he got right in there on Mason, Myles etc and gee didnt the Roosters GANG tackles struggle to get him on his back, let alone on the ground at all?

Still plenty of issues close to the ruck. Marker defence and slow at dummy half. Nathan Fien should help to tighten that up.

Time to rest the set move of Creagh running wide on the last. Bring it out again in the semis. Prior filled in well running a different angle to Creagh, but we won't get that much latitude against the better teams.

Regarding Easts, they were crap. We let them in for two tries but they were running out of steam before half time. The cynic in me make jokes about them being on the piss all week.

Willie Mason makes two runs and then it's hands on knees for the remainder. He, and most of his team mates just gave up.

Fittler whinging about the refs. lol. He'll be shuffling glasses for Waverley RSL in 2010.

We should have beat them by 50. But good to see 28-0 in the second half.
