I think having both Iro and Talakai off took a lot of cohesion away from the team in both attack and defence.

What I will say but Robo is that both our losses were against teams that I rate as top 4 sides. I will always judge player’s performances against those type of sides as markers to where they’re at.

I thought Kennedy was poor tonight.

Got pushed into the in goal twice when he had already made progress out of it.

I thought he bombed a certain try we he took on the defence rather than went through the hands to the winger. Then he compounded the mistake by just popping up the ball in a panic for the Dogs to pounce on it. I thought he lacked a lot of energy in his kick returns too and got man handled easily. I will add though that the Bulldogs kick chase was excellent.

He can get all the Dally M Points against the shyte sides he likes but it’s against the top sides that you show your championship abilities.

He wasn’t alone though. I thought Hynes game was putrid too. Again I want to see him blitz a game against top opposition. FFS he’s our highest earner.

I thought Brailey showed great defence against some bigger players and directed play quite well. But players outside him were off.

I thought Trindall had a decent game but he bombed a try with a bad kick and dropped a ball when we were attacking the line. Again this is pressure that the top sides put on you. So he only just gets a pass. But we need more than a pass from our lead half.
