Honest opinions guys, strengths/weaknesses ect. Apparently he's to sign for Hull KR along with Clint Newton.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and good luck for the rest of the year.

Garretts a good no-frills player who rarely misses a tackle. He will help you lay a platform for your attack without looking like a star.

At the start of last year he was our best forward but hasnt been able to capture that form again.

Cashed-up clubs court Crossman

By Dave Donaghy
September 11, 2007
MELBOURNE Storm is in danger of losing another player to England with underrated prop Garret Crossman weighing up lucrative offers from cashed-up Super League clubs.
As the salary cap continues to bite, Crossman, 24, looks likely to join the exodus next season, with Hull KR and London-based Harlequins understood to have made plays for the former Penrith junior.
Crossman's manager, David Riolo, will arrive in Melbourne today to open talks with Storm.
Riolo, however, said it was unlikely Crossman would secure a new deal with Melbourne, even though he wants to stay and the club is keen to retain him. "I think it's unlikely he'll be in Melbourne next year, just due to the restrictions of the (salary) cap," Riolo said last night.
"They're pretty tight with the salary cap. That's disappointing for him. He went well on the weekend."
Crossman would have to accept a deal significantly smaller than those being offered by the English clubs to remain in the National Rugby League.
He has played 14 games this season but has found himself as Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy's No. 4 front-rower in the rotation system, behind Brett White, Ben Cross and Jeff Lima.
Crossman started on Sunday against Brisbane in the absence of Cross (hamstring). He gained 125m and made 23 tackles.
Riolo will also meet his other clients, veteran Matt Geyer and Clint Newton, during his stop in Melbourne. Riolo has been contracted by Newton to shop around for options overseas should Storm fail to muster a reasonable offer. Newton, who joined Melbourne mid-season, rates himself a 50-50 chance of staying at Storm.
Melbourne is also locked in a battle to convince promising teenager Joseph Tomane to honour his contract with the club for next season.
In a situation not too dissimilar from Steve Turner's tug of war with Gold Coast last year, Tomane has asked for a release from his contract, with chief executive Brian Waldron to fly to Brisbane in the next fortnight for talks with his family.
Waldron said he was confident Tomane would be in Melbourne next year.

Anyone else reckon Crossman seems to have lost a lot of weight over the last year or so?

Always saw him as a real big bopper but he looked very lean when I saw him recently. Maybe just my eyes deceiving me.
