FFS!

just f*ck off you pain in the mandible!

one can cop the loss of a player - one can't cop the endless media dribble. p*ss off & let the club prepare for your replacement.

the downside to this is that saints are now able to poach 400k - 600k worth of talent from another club. some other club is also going to lose because this player is scratching his nuts.

Just got over the whole SBW thing, now its Gaz turn.

Enjoy not getting any ball in Union to do your little shimmy step with d*ckhead.

How do you say "Fire up bitch" and "ready to spurt sauce" in French.

Probably a "le" in there somewhere.....

Stupid cheese eating surrender monkeys

Fire up bitch - Lancez chienne
Ready to spurt sauce -

Ah well, in 20 years time when he is sitting around with his old footy mates at grand final time, and they are all looking at their premiership rings reminiscing about their triumphs I'm sure he'll regret not sticking around the NRL during his prime to try and earn one himself.

Money is important, but what he can earn in the NRL is more than enough to set him up for life if he is smart about it. They say a footballer’s career is short and they having to earn all they can while it lasts....but the average punters in the stands would probably have to work for 4 or 5 years to earn what someone like Gasnier earns in 1 season in the NRL. Some of these premadonas need to wake up and take a look at the real world. Having said that, they are entitled to take their footballing talents wherever they want in order to maximise their earnings. I just wish we didn't have to hear about it every day in the media.

good post mate.

Gaz will miss origins and if saints make / win a GF hell be spewing.

seeing wendalls desire to make it back in league, and tuqiris commetns that unions is a dud game mean that the extra money isnt worth missing out on the nrl.

i think gaz poor form in origin 2 was a sign he was going to france

absolutely, and if they do so and defect to another code for the $$$ then we're just as entitled to refer to them as the pea-hearted turncoats they are.

i'm not saying that i wouldn't do the same, although i have taken (considerably) less money for a job before.

For f**ks sake

This guy is meant to be the face of RLWC

Looks like the RLIF will need to make a new ad, can't see them doing it

yeah thats the problem

keep him as the face when hes going to union or redo the adds and spend money.

not a good look when the star of our WC is headed off to union.

paul harrogan mentioned this once and people might not agree becasue union did something similar.

go to union and you are barred from playing origin or tests again in RL if you return.

I find it hilarious that Nein love him, the NRL love him and both use him and his image accordingly

then you come here and find that the majority of real fans just think he is a tosser of the highest order and can't wait to see the back of him

I agree with the majority of sentiment in this thread ... sooner he is gone, the better - Get stuffed Gaz, Hodges is better anyway

With regards to banning defectors from Origin and Internationals should they return - why stop there ? Ban them from all levels of the game for life ... see how they like leaving their comfort zone with those rules applying

Oink !

No loss. I have had enough of him whinging in the media for weeks. Dragons will be better without him- they could pay for 3 good forwards for his salary (which is over the top as it is for a centre).

ryles - gorn.
gaz - almost gorn.

the dragons are going to have a very big wallet to throw around next year, not to mention bennett coaching them.

i smells a premiership going the way of the big red V in the not-too-distant future.

That will become the bandwagon to end all bandwagons if it comes to fruition...
