whats more pathetic is the australian & kiwi attitde towards raping pacific island squads of their best players.....the rest of the world would like tonga to be competitive in the international arena.

Raping - Get over it Tuiaki and Moimoi are the ones who want to change who are Nz to say no. Its their choice. In Tuiaki's case NZRL didnt even confront him until he came out on the radio to say he has be honoured to represent Tonga but his dream is to come home to NZ with a kiwi jersey to give to his parents.

Moimoi - had been in kiwis plans for years - injury and suspension prevented him from being picked.

Your right we dont 'need' them, especially not to beat you poms.

Even with out moimoi and Tuiaki - Tonga will be able to beat great britain come world cup time.

'Raping' ....

So when people immigrate to Australia and become Australians, they shouldn't be allowed to play for Australia?

even with moimoi, tuiaki & mateo tonga got a beating TWICE by the england 'A' side in last years federation shield you clown....

it's a shame NZ have'nt been in moimoi's plans or else he would'nt have played for tonga

So when people immigrate to Australia and become Australians, they shouldn't be allowed to play for Australia

not when they've already played for tonga....and thats the argument,i'm not against the fact they moimoi, tuiaki etc can play for australia or NZ if they are eligible, but the fact is rules are in place to stop players switching once they've played for 1 nation..if they stay "locked in" to tonga for the 2 years and switched after the world cup,as the rules describe then i'm fine with that, they followed the rules and everyone has acted lawfully and in accordance with the RLIF rules......but nobody is following the rules are they....

How many playes did you lot rip out of the Lion red cup in 1995/96 when the Lion red cup had a chance to be a success. Something like 80 players if memory serves and the cup went from averageing 2000 per match to averagering about 200 3 years later.....so lets talk about who has been raping who?

What it proves dickwad is that you sorry pricks have been raping everyone else for years so sort your own sh*t out before looking at anyone else. The fact you have been bendinmg everyone else over and raping them is seen in the fact that your a sorry third in the international rankings....a very distant third. Why is this? because there are that many Kiwis and Aussies in your Super league that there aint any room for your own players.

Paint your face white, put your red wig on and get your big red nose ready CLOWN.

Typical double standard pom!

and what . Do you realise how much these tongan players have improved over the past year u mong?
Mateo played reserve grade last year - now he is a bonafide star, he'd most likely be more talented than any player in the ESL.

Half of their squad come world cup time - will under 23- full of young players who starting to make their mark in the NRL (easily the world toughest combination). future NRL stars.

Mate if they get young nrl stars player like Jennings, Eddie Paea, Talanoa - then throw in some some fringe-firstgraders but complete athletes they will be able to beat england.

Do you think moimoi even considered whether his actions playing for tonga would have implications on his ability to play for in NZ? No - why would it - it never has stopped anybody else.

Possibly he was thinking the same thing Robbie Farah is currently thinking - I'll try and help lebanon make the world cup.
Though I still want to represent Australia.

i think the issue is not moi moi's ambitions or right to play for nz, its that fact that the rlif dont enforce the rules that they have set. they treat the tongan, fijian etc teams as exhibtion games, when they could and should be genuine test matches. allowing players to drop a pacific island team when they become good enough to make australia or new zealand is doing the game no favours. perhaps if they did enforce their own rules, or introduce stronger rules such as one nation for life then players such as moi moi and mateo wouldnt have played for tonga in the first place, but i think at least this way we can sort out who is serious in playing and promoting in tonga, and who is playing for them because they cant make the kiwis or roos.

the arl should not be running the rlif, the rlif should be above the arl, nrl, rfl etc and enforcing rules and giving every nation a chance to play internationals throughout the year. hopefully they might start doing this after they make cash at next years world cup.
