Anyone who's seen Kent out on the piss knows he's very sleazy towards women. Obviously that's not that same as he's accused of but I wasn't shocked when the story broke
Please don’t go down this path. Unless you, yourself personally, have been in a bar and personally witnessed him doing something untoward we shouldn’t be airing it or talking about it. It is just wrong.

Well said Kilkenny.

Repeating such gossip without actual evidence is close to libel.

You know whether you like or hate Paul Kent, rumours and innuendo are so damaging.

He May we’ll be the grubbiest bloke in the world but he doesn’t deserve to be convicted on social media, just not right.

The court proceedings need to take their course and see what transpires from there. He has a hurdle to get over, but I’ve been around long enough to understand there is lot to be played out yet.
Yeah, I know. That's the reason I don't have an opinion on the outcome. Apart from knowing what he is accused of, I have no idea what went down or didn't.

As I said, the bit about how his career is affected is just what I think will happen. The right or wrong of it wasn't the original question.

I don't like cancel culture either, in fact I think it's dangerous.

You have to admit though, there is a bit of Karma in the innuendo. He was quite happy to print it and talk about it on tv when it involved someone else. I'm saying that too as someone who for the most part didn't mind Kent. DIdn't always agree with him, but found him reasonable when he wasn't in sensationist mode.

He lost me after the weak gutted dog incident. His defense of Ricky and the "I know what happened" BS was a disgrace. I don't give a f**k if Salmon tried to root Sticks prize poodle. He was 12 ffs. Then the Luai pile on etc etc. He lost the plot.

I understand all of the above, I really do.

But at the end of the day, his criminal charges, domestic violence related, they stand alone.

Whatever views he has expressed around our club, players etc on NRL 369 are irrelevant.

He is entitled to the presumption of innocence as we all are under our system of justice.

Paul merkin is allllllll about cancelling careers without proof. I'm not normally a believer in karma but this is playing out beautifully

No one would watch the show u less there was controversy or spirited debate.

Paul Kent was there for a reason. He polarises opinions, gets up peoples noses which was his job.

Despite what has been suggested, he in my experience from wAtching the show was generally very complimentary to the Panthers for the most part albeit he took exceptions to our supposed arrogance which many people agree with.

I dislike Paul Kent. I don't lke his attutude towards Penrith Players.

But in saying that he deserves the presumption to innocence before he goes to court.

I have no idea about his personal life either.

But no one (not even Paul Kent) deserves a show trial in the media.

I'd normally agree but he himself was more than happy to play out the same things on social media for others. He set the standard not us.

Yeah just like he afforded that same right to other players.

I agree with you, not sure what we are arguing about here tbh. Again, my comment about what happens to Kents career is just what I think will happen. Not that I particularly agree with that outcome.
