They have said it will be retained in some form as a community venue, perhaps like Redfern was. I doubt that it could ever be rezoned as residential.

Not sure why, but started about 2007 from memory.

Remember it playing in a game against the Dogs in early 2007 where Wallace played his second NRL game and Jennings debuted.

I could be wrong though, it was fifteen years ago...
