Yeo will be the greatest Panther ever and Nathan the best Panther ever.

I can't put into words the difference between greatest and best.

My other example is Tim Cahill is the greatest Socceroo while Harry Kewell was the best.

I really can’t. He has a connection with Penrith, plus has his Drink West business and is opening his sports bar in High Street Penrith, so he would be crazy to give all that on and join another team.
Maybe. My long term pain from Penrith never having an all time great 300 gamer might be showing.

surely Yeo stays 1 club player - he could make 350+ for Penrith - if he moves to front row/limited minutes - 400+

but Yeo is the player who knows to give it up if he's not at his best

I'd rather Yeo as most capped Panther than Nathan - Nathan will always get the praise, but Yeoweh is the leader of this club - i dont know if we will ever have a better leader than Yeo (forever !)

I think they are both legends and make great captains and role models to our younger players.

But Nathan’s record though once he finishes will have him right up there with one of the best ever to have played the game, not just one of the best ever Panthers players.

If there was ever any doubt the Criminal Justice system is a farce we’ll look no further than what happened today around the sentencing of Ezra Mam.

Seriously the punishment was farcical. You get a bigger fine for getting caught using your phone while driving.

The Crown Prosecution Service should be lodging the appeal against the leniency of the sentence tomorrow if they haven’t done so already.

I'm all for people being able to choose to do drugs safely and not hurt anyone but having a head on crash while unlicensed on coke......that should be 5 years in gaol

This is why youth crime is out of control in Queensland.

Offenders are well aware of which criminal offences get the feather duster treatment and which ones can be painted as "potentially disastrous" and can be slugged with massive fines for "what might have happened".

My daughter was caught using her phone driving when living in Townsville earlier this year, and because her vehicle was registered in her companies name the fine was applied to the company and was over $6000. Obviously she appealed and took the fine on her own licence and it was still over $1200.

Unfortunately drug use has become a social norm in this country and magistrates treat it like speeding because they believe everyone does it.

WRONG. How does an old bloke like me get from point A to point B safely nowadays when so much of this "social norm" shit goes on?

Regarding the Ezra Mam situation, many people would apply the principle of 'What if that was me' or the average Joe?

There is no way that the average Joe would have gotten that punishment and that commentary.

He'd have been fined to the point of having to sell his home, received multiple convictions, imprisioned for years and condemned by the judge in the harshest possible terms.

The Judge in this case is completely appalling but by gosh - you'd think quite a lot of strings were pulled for things to land where they did.

This is just another example of the decay of institutions in Australia (and western world generally). It's not social media - or 'misinformation' that is a fault here - it's the extremely poor standards and leadership of the institutions themselves.

Dumb question - does the CTP Greenslip still cover anyone injured if the driver is high as a kite and unlicensed or will Maam have to meet these costs himself??

CTP covers regardless of drivers licence status, but its a grey area as it may become void if the driver is convicted of a serious crime.

I think part of the deal when it was privatised is the insurer pays out as long as the policy was paid. Whether they choose to then recover off a pissed and or unlicenced driver is another story. CTP insurer probably isn't too bothered about sucking donkey dong, so given Ezra just signed a juicy contract they may well have a crack.
